Wedding in Iowa

We had an adventure Saturday to Iowa. Of course, when there are cows, barns and tractors everytime you blink-Emma and Alex are asleep. We left Praire du Chien for Waterloo at nap time. So Mommy and Daddy had a nice drive but what is that smell?! My goodness. Three times Mommy had to drive with her hand over her nose. Iowa needs to fix that.
When we arrived at the hotel we had to go to the pool first(before we even had a room). So Emma swam in her undies with Jay and Erin while we got Alex into is swimmers. She thought that was pretty cool. When we were dryed off we had to check out our room. Emma and Alex explored every inch of the place before jumping on the bed and snuggling in with their babies. Emma thought the blowdryer was a phone in the bathroom. And she wondered where the tub toys were.
At the reception we spent some time in the parking lot before getting to our table. It was such a nice day. Emma liked singing Jack and Jill as she walked up and down the hill until she fell and scrapped her hand and knee. Alex liked playing with his trucks in the middle of the area to drive. These are the two everyone thinks are the twins in the family.(Jay and Brian)
But it is these two(Nate and Nick).
Of course, these two are always the silly ones.(Erin and Emma) It was a beach theme. So we had buckets, sand, necklaces and fun glasses.

After watching Uncle Jay deliver drinks to the table Alex wanted to also. These are our little buckets we each had.

This is suppose to be a picture of Mikayla with all her beach accessories on.

Each table had a big bucket, which really was good to keep the kids entertained. Alex thought: lets use our sea shells to make little piles of sand everywhere. Mommy thought is was cute but not everyone thought so.

Cousin Ryan dancing the chicken dance with Alex. Mommy does not know what it is about them but Emma and Alex are drawn to Ryan and Laura. The kids love to dance with them.

The pictures of the couple where too dark. Cousin Jonathan wed Emily. Brian's first cousin on his Dad's side(I know people are going to ask).
