Sunday-National Toy Museum

Mommy has heard about the toy museum over the years from Grandma so since we were in Iowa we decided to check it out in Dyersville. It is mostly about farming-the machines. Put-put's everywhere, fire engines', diggers, models of farms from many era's, and so much more.
Alex is teaching Uncle Nick all about this put-put.

Again, the model Emma shows us this wooden put-put. Around it was corn, soybeans, and oats growing. Which was nice for the kids to see and touch instead of just looking at it out of a car window.
On the drive home Emma talked the entire way. Seriously, two and a half hours of continuous talking. Not even stopping to drink. Alex was the lucky one who slept through this. It is a true test of patience for a parent to keep answering all the why questions or the questions you would never have thought of.
On Monday Alex found his picture from Claire of the two of them. It is now hung in his room and he runs to look at it now and then. Then Alex repeats, "My Claire, me house, play."
