Hiding, playing, ABC's

Thursday we were playing when suddenly it was too quiet in the house. So Mommy went to find them. "Here we are!" Their new favorite hiding place is in Mommy and Daddy's bed hiding under the sheets.
Friday after daycare the kids shopped for pizza toppings and delivered jewlery from Mommy's party. Then the whole family was able to stay home and make pizza!

Saturday was Papa's birthday. He came to LaCrosse to check out the train show as well as Uncle Nate and Nick. So the wives also came and we met for cake. The kids loved being able to play with Gammie most of the day. AND Mikayla spent most of Saturday and stayed over night.
Emma said Papa turned 28years old.

Sunday morning Alex decided to sit in Manny's truck while Mikayla played next to him. These two played so hard together that Alex took over a three hour nap in the afternoon.

Emma was mother hen as usual. She picked out was Mikayla was going to wear for the day.

Alex and Mikayla were dancing to big band music from the clock radio while being a firefighter and Bob the builder.

Alex was doing one of his favorite things, bouncing on Daddy's legs.
Thursday Alex walked into the kitchen looked at his fridge DJ and said the ABC's perfectly. Mommy only thought he knew the beginning and the end. She was so excited Mommy had to interupt Daddy in a meeting. Then she was disappointed to find out Alex has been saying them since the weekend. Mommy sees the importance of saying the ABC's for the first time like when he took his first step.
