This picture is for you my baby boy. We stood and watched the digger load the truck. Colten and Katharina had fun watching. Actually, I thought it was pretty cool as well.

Take a look at this ladies. In Ditzingen, a few blocks from Lisa's house are all these.

Tuesday afternoon we went to the Wasen in Stuttgart-what we call Octoberfest. This has to be the biggest ferris wheel ever.

We saw three or four of these teams of horses with their barrels of beer.

We went into one of the 'tents' they look like large permanet buildings. But are only constructed for the two weeks. This tent had performers like the Wiggles on stage and the kids loved it. I had a traditional meal for the event. A very large beer(when in Rome-even when you are not a beer drinker) half a chicken-tasted like it was soaked in butter with some lite herbs, and a bun. No butter. I know, the first time I thought-what do I do with this thing. They eat their buns plan.

Lisa had another tradional dish. Nothing like I had ever tasted. I was a little afraid but a person has to try everything I think otherwise you should just stay home. The fries were good. A different taste. The ketcup is a lot more tomatoy.

The best I could do boys. After all it was like two in the afternoon and old big guys at other tables were not even finishing them. I know Jason, this probably made you cry. But just think I bought your birthday present while I was there.

The kids rode on a couple of rides then we went home. I read a great book to Katharina and and built a house with Colten using blocks that were his Daddy's when he was a kid. Then I was so tired I think from the beer I needed some quiet time and a Pepsi Max. It is only 7:15 on my last night. I leave for the airport at 7:20 tomorrow morning. Mommy be home soon.
