Thursday evening Lisa made me a 'warm' dinner. To us it means she cooked me dinner. We had pork in this great sauce which I forgot Lisa had given me the recipe for in the past. So I will definately make it for you Brian. We had fresh buns from the baker which you dip into the sauce and some red wine(Spanish). Brenda, you would love all the wine around here. It is every where like the chocolate-the shops are called Chocolatires.
I have decided I must buy a German pillow. I slept so good.
Friday we were off to Stuttgart. Outside of an English store was an English phone booth. Lisa said it probably is the only one, but there is alot of phone booths.

There is a lot of green in Stuttgart compared to most cities. Behind us is an Opera house. There is a lot of art here. Walking we see statues, paintings, fountains, plus children's and adult theatre'. I am amazed how much and how well both kids speak German. Colten is only two. When Daddy comes home then they speak German to Dirk and english to Lisa.

Yes, a UPS man! We went to H&M to shop for the kids. Lisa says one is coming to the cities. I highly recommend it. Emma made out the best.

My head is covering up one of the fountains and then an old castle or palace. Hi! Emma and Alex! There are very few public restrooms so it is a good thing I was feeling a little dry yet from my flight and the food is saltier.

Then we picked up lunch and ate by the market. There are many bakeries and butchers. I had a typical German lunch-bun with mustard and meatloaf like texture minced meat. I can not pronounce it let alone spell the name of it.

This is part of a castle in Stuttgart.

This is the courtyard of the castle with my buddies Kathaina and Colten.

After shopping the kids and I needed a nap.
Then we will be off to the vineyard for dinner.

Glad to see you're having a busy time. I will enjoy the same things when I get there--my trip is coming soon! Thanks for all the pictures.
