Sunday and Monday

Sunday was jump in the leaves time. Unfortunately for the kids we do not have many leaves any more and what we do have are the neighbors. So they only had this one little pile.
Alex is thinking, "leaves, mud, my Daddy and a train-means my life is perfect."
Sunday evening we celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary with the kids and fon due. Alex did not have the patience but Emma did well. Mommy now remembers why she has not done this since she had children.

Mug shot! "I did not really mean to poke Mommy in her side(through her sweatshirt and t-shirt) with my fon due stick and then later in her hand."

"Please don't send me to my room for a time out"

Monday Mommy and Alex went with Emma on her preschool fieldtrip to the Corn Maze. It was fun. Alex walked the whole time. Probably because it was muddy and therefore fun to walk.(Otherwise he still wants Mommy to carry him all the time.) We were lost right away, but Mommy directed the group out-since we took a lot of lefts walking in I figured lets take a lot of rights leaving. Mommy was very proud of Emma listening skills and following directions from her teachers. Some of the kids Mommy was not impressed with. Especially the one who had both parents there and yet he was pushing, punching, and not listening and of course the parents said nothing. Except at the end the Dad said-"hey, you don't hit girls." I thought, so it is okay to hit other boys? Although, listening a watching these parents for only an hour I can see the kids does not have a change since the apple appears to not have fallen far from the tree.
After dinner we cut our pumkins. It was the first time carving for both the kids. Last year Emma decorated everyones. Alex thought that when he took his seeds out they all had to then be thrown into Mommy's. Emma drew her face and Mommy cut it out for her. She wanted five candles in it. But one did just fine.
Then Mommy had to wash the floor. Alex has turned into a biting, throwing and spitting monster the last week. Mommy is hoping it's a boy thing. Therefore, he now knows what time-outs are and has more than one a day.
