Day of play

Even though it was nice and warm this morning Alex still had to wear his coat outside. Alex found the fountain to be good entertainment for the morning. The two decided to try to wash themselves in it then added ducks from the bath tub and rocks from the flower bed.
Before going in for lunch both had to be stripped. It is so cute watching Alex and Emma talk with the retired neighbor. Alex loves to watch him mow and water. They seem to talk every morning. Another first for Alex, happened when talking to Daddy on the phone this morning, he said, "love you."

When Daddy came home from work Emma biked all the way around the block. A first for her. Mommy was surprised Emma made it since she is into not taking naps anymore.

These two were so dirty and smelly we ate dinner outside then went straight to baths. After baths we all sat on a blanket and had ice cream in a cone. Good idea Emma. Then Emma fell asleep watching a show at about 6:30. Mommy thought it was a great day.
