cookies and eggs
Wednesday morning we went to Grandma and Grandpa Shumway's house in Arcadia.
We made Easter cookies for Grandpa. Well Mommy only had one Easter bunny cookie cutter so we also made airplanes, trains, cars, helicopters, and semi's. Alex called them all trucks.
Mommy could not tell who had more fun, Grandma or the kids. Emma of course is well practiced in rolling out the dough, cutting, putting on the cookie sheet and then frosting. Alex also rolled out some dough well-we did not bake his. Alex was so serious about frosting he would not look up for pictures, talk or even eat a cookie. Although Mommy saw alot of frosting go in his mouth. Alex made sure Grandpa was able to eat some right away. After the third cookie Mommy made Alex stop taking them to Grandpa. The chair Alex is sitting on is the chair Mommy sat on when she was too little to reach the table.
After driving home and playing outside we colored Easter eggs. Okay, so Daddy and Emma colored Easter eggs. Alex was not aloud too after he kept cracking or smashing them. Vinager really does work better than lemon juice or water. We have been so busy lately playing other places lately Emma asked to stay home, she misses her house.
