Play, Play, Play

Instead of waking and getting dressed right away on Wednesday, we played. Alex woke without fever and in a good mood. Emma slept in until 7am. I can not remember the last time that happened. Emma is getting good at her Dora game that Jen J. lent her. Then the kids took their banks to the bank. Emma had fun putting all the coins in the counter.. Alex received his first sucker. Lots of drool until he got it. All the ladies(5) were staring at him talking about how cute Alex was. I guess it was a little too much for him. He cried really hard for a while.

Alex snuck my empty coffee cup from my hand instead of his sippy cup. I look over and he has it tipped all the way back and giggling. Look at those eyes. They say it all. He had been after my cup all shopping trip. Yes, Mommy has cut her self off from Java but after Emma's not listening stent this morning Mommy needed something. Alex's new words: Dora and Boo!

This look says: I get to have a chocolate chip cookie and not Emma because she was not listening this morning and I get to have alone time with Mommy because the one that takes all of Mommy's attention is napping.

And it is only 1:30 in the afternoon.
