Grandpas home and first time in sand box

Saturday we went to Arcadia to visit Grandma and Grandpa Shumway. Grandpa was finally home from the hospital. Alex showed Grandpa how he walks four or five steps at a time and they played catch! Grandpa's physical therapist would have been proud. After lunch we played outside and Alex weeded Grandma's flower garden. Emma practiced walking the edging.
In the afternoon Daddy build a rock wall. Just like in Ireland. There where so many dead trees in the corner so now there are no trees in the corner. Mommy is not too sure about this since the sand box is not far away and people like to take their big dogs off their leashes and walk them along the tracks.

Alex's first time in the sandbox. He was not allowed in earlier because he liked to eat EVERYTHING. Alex crawled right in and played until he was dragged out. Of course he did eat a little sand. Daddy said it was okay, if he ate too much he would throwup. Because that is what happened to Daddy as a child. When Mommy pulled Alex out he said, "I have sand in places I don't know what they are yet."
