Memorial Day

Sunday evening Alex made his way around the kitchen cupboards and finally found the SNACK cupboard. As he scooted away he draged his crackers under his butt grinding them into fine crumbs.

Monday morning Mommy stayed up after working the night shift so we could go to the parade. It was so much fun! We danced and clapped to the many bands and waved at the veterans. We loved the drums and flags(American flags) that were handed out. Emma put two of the flags in the front yard around the new tree. No candy though.

Then, we got food to go from Rudy's Drive-In and ate at Riverside Park. Alex chewed on his hamburger and bun the whole time. He was fancinated by two guys playing catch football. Emma left some of her bun for the birds. Emma walked by the river to watched the many boats. Then, mommy and us took naps.
