A day in the life of the now mobile Alex

I started the day at 5:30am. Let's just say Mommy did not have a happy look on her face. After Emma went potty and Mommy was helping her I decided it was time to check out what they keep putting in that tall white thing. Well, Mommy did not like me putting my entire arm in the toilet or trying to tip over the garbage can. So I decide I would not take my morning nap. This led to me being put in my highchair outside the bathroom door so Mommy could shower. Good thing I have my big sister wrapped around my finger. I had her giving me snacks the whole time. Then I decided the bottom shelf of Emma's bookcase was boring, so I decide to pull my self up to the second shelf. I guess that was not good because I got myself placed on the otherside of the room. So I decided it was time to not just play with the snail knob but to pull open the dresser doors. I got moved again. So I knew if I tipped over Dieago's treehouse I could get to the lamp cord. That got me taken out of Emma's room and into my crib for a nap. After nap I scooted myself by butt to the back room to read books. Instead, I realized the door to the fireplace opened. So I drove my cars on the logs and put my blocks in there for later.
Then, we had lunch at 1030am. I think Mommy has some plans for me later. While eating my hamburger and peas I discovered if I push up on my tray-it goes flying! I thought it was funny. But while Mommy cleaned up I helped by eating some from the floor.
After that I got put in my crib for nap. Mommy said she was going to cut up the fresh pineapple, instead I drove her to eating a cupcake. After I heard Mommy get done talking to Lisa on the phone and lay down in Emma's bed and I heard her eyelids close-I cried. Yepp. That got me a couple ounces of formula then back to my crib for an hour. After nap I decided to try to fit under the entertainment center. But I kept bumping my head on the VCR. So I put some toys there for later. I worked so hard I needed my shirt off. I tried and tried and squealed. Mommy would not help me so instead I looked at my belly for awhile and giggled.

I think at the end of the day Mommy is going to throw my shirt away because she does not think it is funny anymore. Then I discovered the garbage cans turn. I tried to climb in but could not fit. So I decided to go back to the broiler. Good thing Mommy was there. She pulled me back just as I was going to get my arm stuck in the door. Mommy is considering duck taping the door shut. Then Mommy called Daddy to tell on me. I heard her say she was excited to go to work tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Emma was the driver of the train. It went back and forth from the kitchen to the living room. When ever I heard the whistle I stopped to pull my train horn. I don't know how to wave bye-bye, but I know what to do when someone says "toot-toot."

By this time Mommy was watching the clock for Daddy to come home. After dinner, I was pounding on the glass of the hutch so Daddy picked me up. I looked at Mommy and told her, "Na-Na, Ma-Ma." Yah, that got me sent to the tub to get ready for bed. But I had to play a little more. How I got under the cart I don't know.
